The UK company manufactures and installs concrete security barrier systems which are used to protect government military sites and other civil locations in need of adequate roadside risk prevention. They are looking for concrete manufacturers who can produce the UK company's patented security barriers and sell them in their markets under a license agreement.
Offer description
The security barriers developed by the UK company provide durable protection and are clean and modern in design, making it suitable for applications where both security and appearance are important, such as around hotels where international summit meetings are taking place. Different concrete finishes are available. The UK company wishes to engage with concrete manufactures who will produce and sell the product in their markets under a license agreement. The manufacturing partner must be an established concrete manufacturer with a strong marketing and sales network into defence and civil sector.
Innovations and advantages
The security barrier system can be rapidly assembled as either a permanent or temporary security barrier because it has no need for foundations or ground-fixing. Customers can typically expect to achieve 110 yards a day of units installed with cranes and trucks. The system can be attached vertically in multiple courses to build barriers up to 20 feet high. Once they are no longer needed, the barriers can be dismantled quickly and units reused elsewhere. When the barrier units are connected via their unique coupling system, the structural integrity of the wall provides outstanding hostile vehicle mitigation system (HVM), protecting against vehicle impact as well as large blasts. These units have also been tested and shown to provide ballistic protection from multiple 30mm cannon strikes.
