A UK company has developed an innovative system for the recycling of leftover/waste water-based emulsion paint and is seeking to license the process to interested European companies. They are seeking entrepreneurs, preferably with a background in waste or factory management and/or paints, to form a licensing agreement with the UK company, who will provide technical support.
Offer description
It is estimated that within the UK alone, approximately 50 million litres of paint are sent to landfill or incineration every year. This UK company has developed a way of transforming waste emulsion paint into premium quality paint, and successfully reprocessed approximately 100 tonnes of waste paint in their first year. They, and their licensees, are the only companies in the UK using this process to remanufacture paint back to a premium quality environmentally-friendly eco paint, which is cost effective. They are now seeking partners who are interested in buying the license for the procedure to begin recycling paints in Europe. They are offering to provide the information required to execute this process, along with technical support, and equipment information. Before their process; some charitable or recycling companies batched up and redistributed the paint, but did not improve it. This company improves the paint by testing it and using the necessary additives to produce a quality ‘as new' product comparable to the better known national brands. They are seeking entrepreneurs able to run the process, and a background in any of the following fields would be an advantage: waste management, paint, chemistry or factory management. This might include someone who already runs a waste company and does other recycling. Knowledge of DIY or council or construction procurement might also be an advantage. The UK company is seeking a licensing agreement.
Innovations and advantages
The process is patent pending in Europe, and produces paint that is: * High quality * High opacity * Affordable * Low carbon The waste paint is blended and treated, tested and filtered and can then be sold to the retail market or trade/wholesale.
