The French company is a cheese processing co-op of 67 milk producers all located around their dairy in the Auvergne region. They transform approximately 3.000 tons of cheese per year, mainly blue veined cheeses, whose quality is well-known as far as Japan. Located in the heart of the Natural Park of Volcanoes in the Auvergne, at an altitude of 950m, the French company is since 1949, specialized in the production of blue veined cheeses. It is still one of the French leading blue veined cheeses producers. They receive everyday around 100 000 liters of milk for transformation. The dairy is engaged in a number of quality approaches to guarantee its customers an optimum level of quality that corresponds to its image. The French company stores its blue cheeses one month longer than the 28 days imposed by the AOP, to guarantee more creaminess and more taste. The Auvergne region is rich in local products, especially in cheeses with 5 DPO cheeses: Cantal, Salers, Saint Nectaire, Bleu d’Auvergne and Fourme d’Ambert. Located in the area of the two last ones The French company produce mainly blue veined cheeses in three different ranges: - A range of pasteurized milk cheeses for consumers looking for regular and not too typical taste, - A range of raw milk cheeses exclusively Fourme d’Ambert and Bleu d’Auvergne, - A range of organic milk cheeses made from 6 different cheeses such as Fourme d’Ambert, Bleu d’Auvergne, Tome de Montagne. Then they also propose single serving fresh packed cheeses. To expand their commercial activity they look for distributors all over the world.
