 In early 2013, the representative of the Russian company "Energy resource-t" contacted the RUITC expert with the request to assist in funding search for the technology developed by the company. Technology profile was compiled and posted in the EEN. Company was also invited to get acquainted with the possibilities of joint research and grants through participation in international programs of The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises and competitions of 7th Framework Programme. The company has expressed interest to participate in the joint Franco-Russian competitions (FASIE-TEKES) as at that time have already been established particular contacts with Finnish companies. RUITC expert helped with the preparation of the application and provided additional information on the conditions of participation.
 Consortium members were - the company Kuukivi Design OY, Finland, Petrozavodsk State University and LLC "Energy Supply-t."
 The Russian side within this project will carry out calculations, and check on the pilot sites degree of heating of walls, floors and other elements of the sauna by warm air coming from the storage tank to the STE channels available in ceramic plates to provide a soft thermal radiation within the medium wave range; conduct research and testing of Soapstone from various fields of Russia and Finland in order to select the most suitable for thermal and strength characteristics for the creation of energy-efficient electric heater; will select the characteristics of materials using clay, fire clay, and possibly waste of soapstone for the creation of high-temperature air ducts of electric heaters and elements of the sauna.
